The adaptive reuse of redundant agricultural buildings is becoming increasingly common. The former Spellow Farm to the East of Radcliffe on Trent is a prime example of how new life can be given to buildings that are well past their useful agricultural life.

Three former bull pens and three former sheds were adapted to create offices and industrial units. The project is situated within the Green Belt and as such required careful negotiation with the local authority, who accepted that a commercial use was preferable to dereliction.
